9.20.24, 6:30-8:30pm: Metal Embossing Workshop - Trinket Box
In this class we will complete a Trinket Box design, using a variety of metal embossing techniques on lead-free pewter sheet. We are going to practice how to incorporate embellishment texture plate to add fine embossed design to various parts of the project. Learn some doodling techniques and mandalas to enrich your designs. You will also be introduced to an interesting, versatile technique for creating a chemical “etch” design on the outer side of the box. We also have a chance to complete our lovely artwork by applying a chemical patina, using a variety of paints and inks to create a colorful piece to display at home.
All supplies are included as well as the use of my studio tools.
