2.4.25: Cast Glass Hearts with Lavae
Just in time for Valentine's Day, learn to cast glass hearts. You'll fill casting molds with sheet glass, crushed glass, frits, noodles, and stringers. You'll learn to layer the colors with clear and dichroic glasses to get brilliant combinations. Or you can embed glass flowers into the hearts. These large hearts can be hung on a provided hook, used as paper weights, or just displayed. You'll also make some pocket hearts, perfect for slipping into the pocket of someone you love. You'll make 2-3 large hearts (2” - 5”) and 2-3 small ones, as time allows. All tools, materials, and heat (kiln-firing) provided!
