Join us for an opportunity to learn and practice your glass painting/enameling (and some screen printing) skills. This is an open studio, and we will all be learning and doing together. Materials are provided. One kiln firing is also included.

In this class you will learn to use basic tools to cut glass, what types of glass you will be using (dichroic and others) and different options on how to design and create several pieces of gorgeous jewelry. You'll make 2 pair of earings and 2 pendants - perfect for gifts!! All materials are provided.

These little coral baskets are fun to put together and this class is just in time to make holiday gifts. Whether you choose clear, transparent, or opaque glasses, each vessel is unique. Shaped wide for a sweet little basket or taller as a votive holder, both catch spectacular light. Because cutting thin strips of glass can be tricky, I'll have a bundle of pre-cut strips in a variety of colors for you. But if you want to try your own hand, I'll help you with tools and technique. Each student will make three 6” corals. All materials and tools provided. Students will return 3 days later to retrieve your artwork after being fired twice in the kiln.

We will learn to crochet a lovely woolen potholder (you'll make 2) that will last a lifetime. These will then be felted in your washing machine at home. You'll be supplying the woolen yarn (or you can purchase from me - lots of different price points are available).

Cut, assemble and fire traditional fused glass but utilizing a variety of non-glass materials and techniques. Using wire and sheet copper embedded in fused glass, we will create an opportunity to collage a variety of materials to glass. The objects created can be, but is not limited, to making a mask.

Join Catalina and learn to make little sculptures, using air-dry class, wire/foil armitures and acrylics to build and paint a mythical Mexican figurine! Learn the skills to create beautiful Mexican folk art with bright colors and patterns.

This is a fun, creative hands-on activity that everyone can enjoy!

We will custom-cut MDF board and use and glass tiles, found objects, tempered glass, stones and stained glass to craft a gorgeous mosaic mirror for your home. We will learn how to use a circle-cutter for glass and mirror. Make the mirror of your dreams!

Art and wine workshop: Let's celebrate the end of the week with a happy creative time and get ready for your happy hour. Artist Catalina Salinas will guide you step by step to create and learn some skills to hand paint your own glass (each person will paint 2) to enjoy with your wine. For those of age, we will enjoy a glass of wine while making a fabulous gift for any occasion, making a creative and memorable time. All materials are included.
